How I'm saving time while making sales on social media

Social media has been so substantial in the growth of my business that I decided to start sharing more about this.

The followers that you have can be converted into sales or amazing referrals. Especially on Facebook, with all the features that is has today. Facebook is always going to be the platform that owns most of social media. Remember they own Instagram and WhatsApp. Facebook is also the platform that has the most targeted advertising and the most consumer data available.

I used to think that my sales from Facebook are just by coincidence. Maybe that day I said something super funny that got attention? Or maybe it was because I had an amazing photo? But then I started networking more with other business owners and other women in sales. I discovered that selling through social media is a whole industry ! There are multimillion-dollar businesses being built by using Facebook relationship-building, social selling and messaging. I got into Mastermind groups and I started learning.

I felt like I discovered fire!!!

This opened up a whole new dimension for me. Most of us are already using Facebook to sell. We already know that we can advertise. We already know that we can message the people that ask for more information.

But when you look at the potential sales in all the people that are followers:

  • the ones that never put a comment

  • or friends that never ask the question

The reality is that a lot of sales is left on the table. And we are not even looking at the referrals that can come when they start tagging their friends and sharing more of your stuff. So I'm right now obsessed with everything that I can learn about social selling.

The economy as we know It has changed. We all know the business is going to be more online, global and virtual. None of us can afford to stay behind.

My tips for you:

  • Invest in training yourself (or your team if you are a business owner). Social selling is a whole industry that you need to know about right now!

  • Use apps that make life easier for you and make your sales process more efficient. You can follow up by type of product or by topic or any other way that you would like. This makes it much faster and easier to follow up with your customers.
